Green Buisness solutions

by brennaleeroth - October 2nd, 2009

January 2010 will be our 3rd anniversary here at Growing Our Future Today. We will be hosting a convention for several local businesses, and have now decided to open it to all businesses in NE Ohio. This year our convention will be held in Canton Ohio. We will be meeting with several experts in our field. We welcome any business owner that would like more information on becoming a green business, as well as how to market a green business. The cost for the day is $60 per person, or $100 for 2 people from one business. This fee will be tax deductible. We will be having a formal dinner as well. If you would like more information on this event please email Brenna@growingourfuturetoday.org

Documentary Help.

by admin - July 20th, 2009
We are deep in production right now for one of the most exciting and influential projects I have ever worked on.

I am currently working with Sterling Bio Sciences, Biomass magazine, and Growing our Future today on a country wide documentary about the Biomass to Cellulosic Ethanol process. Since Growing our Future Today is a (501)c 3 this documentary would be a great tax write-off for anyone. We are currently taking donations from anyone that would like to be a part of this great documentary.

We have several filming locations all over the mid-west. We will visit Cellulosic Ethanol facilities, as well as talk to several experts in the field. We will show the process from the wheel to the well.

It is a well known fact that oil is a finite resource and that it is necessary to take steps now to ease the transition to a renewable future. It is our hope through this documentary that we can help raise awareness about current programs and initiatives and spur the imagination of the scientists of tomorrow today.

Here is a calculator that our good friends at TerraPass have made to determine the carbon footprint of every car. My waste is approximately 13,339 lbs CO2 per year. Take time to find out what your car carbon footprint is at http://www.terrapass.com/carbon-footprint-calculator/ as well as tips to help reduce it.

We welcome you to join us on the exciting front edge of tomorrow’s future! For donation questions please email us, or info@sterlingbiosciences.com we can accept paypal or check. for credit card donation please email for info.

Best,
Brenna Roth
